韩建林，男，1963年8月出生,汉族,甘肃省庆阳市人。1984年毕业于甘肃农业大学畜牧专业获学士学位,2002年毕业于兰州大学获得博士学位。现为甘肃农业大学教授、博士生导师,现为中国农业科学院一级岗位杰出人才；国际研究所（ILRI）动物遗传资源分子评价项目首席科学家；中国农业科学院（CAAS）- 国际畜牧研究所（ILRI）畜禽及牧草遗传资源联合实验室首席科学家；国际牦牛研究信息中心（International Yak Information Center,IYIC）秘书长；中国牦牛品种协会负责长等职,入选甘肃省“333”人才工程。
主持完成了奶牛血液遗传标记及其与经济性状相关关系的研究（1994）；利用荧光法鉴别Y-小体和免疫电泳法分离牛精子进行性别控制（1995）；旧世界驼属动物遗传关系及多样性的研究（2003）；全球牦牛遗传多样性的研究（2004）。1994年作为项目主持人之一获甘肃省科学技术进步三等奖； 2003年获欧共体-肯尼亚农业科学院国际合作研究优秀成果奖；2004年获沙特阿拉伯王国商务及工业部国际合作奖；2004年获第29届国际动物遗传学会优秀论文奖；2005年获第四届非洲畜牧学会优秀论文奖。《比较血型学》（日译汉）,1991年,中国科学技术出版社。
